The Process
Whether your wedding is approaching or already a cherished memory, a custom bridal bouquet portrait is a beautiful way to preserve the day.
The process begins with a one-on-one conversation with me to discuss your wedding, your bouquet, and the style you envision—whether contemporary or traditional. If your wedding has already taken place, simply share your photos and though the clearer the better, even slightly soft images can be thoughtfully interpreted, allowing each flower to be brought to life with artistic care.
A 50% deposit ($325) is required to begin, with the balance due upon completion. If you’d like, I can share progress photos along the way—always a fun and meaningful part of the experience.
I paint and use heirloom quality paints and substrates for a lasting memory.
I love painting on 16”x20" and 12”x 24” canvases because they offer the perfect middle ground as they are large enough to capture fine details without being so big that they overwhelm a standard wall. Watercolor paintings are a bit smaller so that they will fit beautifully in a 16”x20” mat. If you're looking for something with a bit more presence, I’m also happy to work with larger sizes, just let me know if you'd like to discuss the options!
A bouquet painting takes me around 20 hours to complete and once finished, you’ll receive a virtual preview for approval. Each piece is an original work of art, so some artistic interpretation is part of the process, this is more than a photograph; it’s a painted memory.
Your artwork will be carefully finished and prepared with canvases being varnished and wired for hanging, while watercolor pieces are matted in white with backing. All artwork is wrapped in acid-free materials and securely packaged for shipping.
Shipping within the U.S. is complimentary. For international orders, a shipping estimate will be provided.
Depending on my current workload, your completed piece will be shipped within 3–4 weeks.
